SACRAMENTO, CA - A Slice of New York (ASONY) was honored as Assembly District 25’s business of the year in Sacramento on Wednesday by Assemblymember Alex Lee (D-25). Kirk Vartan and Marguerite Lee, co-owners of A Slice of New York (ASONY), opened the pizza shop nearly 15 years ago with the goal to bring East Coast comfort food to the Bay Area.

This past year has been tremendously painful for all of us, and particularly in the Asian American community. The pandemic has hurt so many of us and turned our lives upside down, but the new resurgence of racism has sadly infected our country as well.
