Assemblymember Alex Lee Recognizes Pride Month Honorees
In celebration of Pride Month, Assemblymember Alex Lee honored 6 leaders and organizations for their advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. The honorees were recognized on June 2 at the Assembly District 24 Pride Month Celebration at SoFA Market, which was co-hosted by Ohlone Community College District Board Trustee Lance Kwan.

Assemblymember Alex Lee Celebrates 2024 AAPI Heritage Month
On Saturday, May 11, 2024, Assemblymember Alex Lee celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with Santa Clara County Board of Education Trustee Victoria Chon at the Jun Bistro in Milpitas. At the event, which was attended by special guest Congressman Ro Khanna, seven community leaders were honored for their contributions to Assembly District 24.

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, Assemblymember Alex Lee hosted an award ceremony to recognize the unsung heroes of Assembly District 24. 25 individuals and organizations were honored for their contributions and commitment to the community.

On October 28, Assemblymember Alex Lee hosted an Emergency Preparedness Workshop with Alameda County Sheriff Yesenia Sanchez, where participants learned about ways to plan and prepare for emergencies.

Assemblymember Alex Lee hosted the Community Walk & Talk event at Alum Rock Park on Saturday, July 22, 2023, with San Jose Councilmember David Cohen, where constituents connected with the elected officials during a walk along the Penitencia Creek trail.
