Assembly District 24 Youth Art Contest 2024

AD24 Art Contest

Assemblymember Alex Lee invites students K-12 to participate in the Assembly District 24 Youth Art Contest! In partnership with the California State Library, this year’s art contest theme is “A Home for Everyone.” As Chair of the Select Committee on Social Housing, Assemblymember Lee believes that housing is a human right and that everyone should be able to live, play, and work in their hometowns. Submitted artwork will be judged on how they convey concepts that illustrate "a home for everyone.”

The Assembly District 24 Youth Art Contest is open to all students K-12 residing in our district, which includes the Alameda County communities of Fremont, Newark, and Sunol, and the Santa Clara County communities of Milpitas and San Jose. To check if you are a resident of the district, please visit this website.

Winners of the art contest will be honored at the California State Capitol in the Assembly Chambers. The winning artworks will be displayed in Assemblymember Lee's Capitol Office for one year.

To participate, please fill out the form below and upload a photo of your artwork. Submissions will be accepted until Sunday, April 21, 2024, and the winners will be selected by Assemblymember Lee. On Saturday, April 27, 2024, we will showcase top submissions and announce contest winners at Berryessa Branch Library.
