By now I’m sure you’ve heard the horrendous news. The Supreme Court is set to overturn Roe v. Wade and do away with the bodily autonomy of women and pregnant people. Here in California, we won’t be standing idly by. We’ve proposed a constitutional amendment to enshrine the right to choose in our state constitution to codify and protect reproductive rights. We will need to take action ourselves, and we will welcome those who seek refuge in California.
