As we're coming to the end of the year, I wanted to say it's been an honor to represent you for the past two years, and I'm grateful for all of our work together. With redistricting, unfortunately, Santa Clara will no longer be part of Assembly District 25 (soon to be 24). I did want to note that you will be well represented in Assembly District 26, and you can contact their office at (408) 446-2810 if you need any assistance going forward.

Check Presentations to Cities
We recently presented symbolic checks to the City of Fremont and the City of Newark as part of the funding secured in the State Budget.
In Fremont, this funding will go toward rebuilding the Teen Center at Lake Elizabeth in Central Park which will serve as a hub for Fremont's recreational and education programs, developing the I-680 Sabercat Bridge & Trail, and supporting the Fremont Housing Navigation Center.
In Newark, the funding secured will go toward establishing quiet zones (which has been an item of significant concern because Newark experiences a fair amount of freight and passenger railroad traffic) as well as allows the city to move forward on a citywide broadband system.
