AB 3031 will create the LGBTQ+ Commission with the goal of improving the health, safety and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ community members. The LGBTQ+ Commission will monitor state legislation, and assess programs and policies affecting the LGBTQ+ community.
Today, AB 2881 was introduced by Assemblymember Alex Lee to develop social housing for Californians of all income levels. The legislation will establish the California Housing Authority to produce mixed-income housing that is affordable and financially self-sustaining.
Today, Assemblymember Alex Lee introduced AB 2584 to protect California’s limited supply of single-family homes, and ensure that residents have the opportunity to become homeowners. The legislation proposes to prevent institutional investors that own more than 1,000 single-family homes from purchasing additional properties and converting them into rentals.
