Amid the #MeToo movement, California extends the statute of limitations for sexual assault survivors to seek civil damages from assailants.
Assemblyman Marc Berman, D-24th District, apologized if he repeated points during last week’s “Keeping Up with the Community” event at Enchanté Boutique Hotel in downtown Los Altos.
By the time he arrived Sept. 18, Berman had already appeared at the Clocktower Coffee Roasting Company in Mountain View for another community coffee and attended a meeting that day.
Assemblyman Marc Berman, D-Palo Alto, will address the perceived gap between the increasing availability of jobs in technology and skills taught at California public schools at an event in East Palo Alto on Monday.
He will join a panel of local employers, as well as military and educational leaders, who will discuss the addition of computer science to the curriculum of California public schools with hopes of preparing children earlier for tech jobs that are on the rise.
